NoSQLt API is an Application Programming Interface provided by NoSQLt real-time/historical database platform for users. With NoSQLt API, users can employ their favorite programming languages to make use of all the functions of NoSQLt real-time/historical database platform with remote procedure calls, so as to reach their own programming goals.
In the future, to meet users' requirements, the development team of NoSQLt may provide versions of other operating system platforms such as Linux, Unix and so on.
Under the operating system of Windows, NoSQLt API is a Dynamic Link Library file physically, which is nosqlt_api.dll, together with its function and defining declaration file nosqlt_api.h; after copying these two files under the project content of their own application project and properly arranging them in their own programs, users can use them.
Just like Win32API of Windows platform or linux API of Linux platform, NoSQLt API provides calling interface in the form of pure C language function, and as long as the programming languages used by users can support the API of the operating platforms mentioned above, users can call NoSQLt API. Certainly, for the other languages, some mapping defining work may be needed, and the details can be referred to the explanation files of different languages.
NoSQLt API doesn't need users' programs to operate on the same physical computer with NoSQLt real-time/historical database server, but NoSQLt server should be reached with TCP/IP remote access. Therefore, before using NoSQLt API, please contact your network administrator to get the IP address and port of NoSQLt server.
